About us
I+Y is a Dutch interior architecture studio with a passion for creating places from spaces. In addition to interior architecture, we work as concept designers, deepening our understanding of the relationship between identity, requirements and space in order to form a clear and unique concept.
We believe that a space should reflect the identity of the people who inhabit it. Our work begins with the interior architectural design of a space and extends to the careful refinement of its finest details, resulting in environments where function and flow lead to timeless aesthetics that feel personal and considered.
"From spaces to places"
I+Y was founded by Rebecca Wijsbeek and Rienk Wiersma.
Rebecca and Rienk have been working together since 2008 and joined forces in 2017. Their creative relationship is rooted in friendship and shared design philosophy, complementing one another throughout the entire design process.
With over 20 years of experience across different disciplines, including corporate commercial retail, hospitality, corporate office and residential design, they decided to combine their talents and creative chemistry to establish I+Y Interior Architecture.
Based in Haarlem, our studio is more than a workspace and functions as a curated showroom where our design philosophy comes to life. Here, we collaborate with selected partners whose craftsmanship and materials reflect our commitment to quality, tactility and timeless design.
